Founder and Director
Kalen Dionne MD, PhD
Dr. Dionne was born and raised in the Eastern Plains of Colorado. He initially worked for his family’s construction business, but his career trajectory changed after attending Colorado’s Rural Health Scholars Program in early high school. He eventually became a magna cum laude graduate of Colorado College, where he completed his bachelor’s degree with distinction in Neuroscience. He then matriculated into the prestigious Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the University of Colorado, where he earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience and his medical degree (M.D.). He went on to complete a rigorous neurology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis. He then served as an attending neurologist at Washington University in St. Louis for several years before moving to Washington, Missouri to lead the Neurology section at Mercy Clinic. In 2025, he started his own practice (Dionne Neurology) in Washington, Missouri. Dr. Dionne and his family are ecstatic to be part of this charming community.

Medical Assistant
Julie Huttenlocker
Julie was born and raised here in Washington Missouri on her family’s hog farm just west of Washington. She spent her childhood days on the farm and was active in the 4-H club and enjoyed showing a hog every summer at the Washington Town and Country Fair. Julie graduated from Washington High School, where she was active in the Health Occupations program. Julie and her husband Marc built their forever home on the family farm where they are raising their two boys. She enjoys spending time outdoors in their garden and in her flower beds in the summer; she is the President of the Washington West PTC and has been active with her boy’s school for the past 7 years. In her free time she loves taking camping trips with her family. Julie has been a part of the medical field for the past 8 years and is very excited to be a part of Dr. Dionne’s new practice where she hopes to grow her love in the medical field.

We diagnose and treat a wide range of neurologic conditions affecting adults (aged 18 and older):
New patient appointments
All new patients require a physician referral, which can be faxed to us at 636-330-2025. Dr. Dionne and his team will review all new patient referrals, and those patients that may benefit from our services will be called to schedule a new patient appointment.
